This is a group for anyone who wants to practice French Conversation. It doesn't matter if you are just learning, almost fluent, or a native speaker. The main thing is that you want to use and share the French language, and meet a range of people who all want to speak and learn. Initially it is hoped that we shall find somewhere convenient where we can meet to chat. Afterwards, we can see if we can organise activities and events for French speakers.

We are a wonderful community of smart, educated and friendly people that enjoys participating in French-themed cultural events and conversation.Being a member is FREE. We invite you to become a member and immerse yourself into BOTH language and culture, have fun and make beaucoup d'amis !!! ALL LEVELS of FRENCH from ZERO to NATIVE speakers are welcome!

For those of you would would like to improve their French or to meet other French speakers then this would be ideal for you. We will meet once every fortnight at a new pub/cafe/restaurant. This could involve a few evening drinks or a meal. We can go for country walks or an exciting day out. This will be all located in Huddersfield and the surrounding areas. Let's get together the English and the French and everyone else who would like to network in a friendly environment with French Wine, Cheese and more... We can network, relax, enjoy Wine and the food while getting to know one another. We meet monthly on the Tuesday before the last week of the month, 6PM-8PM at the Grosvenor Casino Fiveways Broad Street Birmingham B15 1AY. We charge £5 per person with free parking for the casino, situated at the back. You will need to bring an id.

This is your opportunity to practise or have a taster at various languages in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Join us if you would like to do just that! We would also love to hear from you if you have a language to offer from any continent and any country.
