Introduction
I'm originally from Brussels, Belgium, and I am a language teacher. I lived for 3 years in Philadelphia between 2005-2008 and I had a lot of fun creating the French Cafe Meetup group with Jean-Louis and Céleste. I'm currently living in San Diego.
How would you describe your French language skills? a) What does 'merci' mean? b) Beginner c) Intermediate d)Advanced e)Fluent or Native speaker

What is your favorite French language book/movie/song?
Jacques Brel's song ''La Quête'', a powerful and emotional performance, and a great text. This is what we call 'la belle chanson française.' Jaxques Prévert's "Paroles" - wonderful modern poetry. I love good French comedies and historical films.
What are you hoping to find here at French Café?
Diversity - Fun - Cultural Exchange and Discovery - New Friends - Promote French and the French-speaking Community. French Cafe became in 2008 the largest French meetup group of the region!
