“ I don't have enough exposure to this group yet to give a proper evaluation, so the rating of "Good" is still tentative. It may turn out to be "Great!" My first experience was a positive one. There was a diverse group of people in attendance, which in itself makes for an interesting time. There was also a range of ability in French. I have had six years of French in high school and one additional year in university. I should add that this was all a long time ago. My gut feeling was that I was perhaps just below the middling level of those present. No one made me feel intimidated and I think anyone who has completed grade 12 French would be perfectly comfortable. I’m looking forward not only to the opportunity to improve my French at further meetings but also to meet some interesting people. My best advice is, Try it! You might like it. ”
