I had a good time, and this will improve my conversation skills!
    •  it was a bit awkward at first but i loved meeting the organizer; she is very personable and helpful in terms of meeting you at the level of French you speak. Once she realized I was very visual she would even spell some of the words for me...I LOVED THAT!! ...with some people it was kind of tense and uncomfortable...if your level was lower than theirs there was a sense of disconnect from some of the ones who spoke at a more advanced level....it was difficult to hear above the music particularly if you sat across the table I felt comfortable speaking French with people who were engaging no matter their level...I think for me it would be helpful if the ones who spoke at a more advanced level would remember where they used to be before they became fluent. I realize there were some native speakers there too and that is totally cool too! all and all my experience tonight was wonderful.
    •  Nice turn out.
    •  This was my first meetup. I had a good dinner. The people were friendly. I learnt a few more french words. I enjoyed talking to you Rachel, you are doing a great job.
