Are you looking to brush-up on your French. Are you in need of a little review of the grammar, pronunciation and the finer points of the French Language while enjoy the opportunity of building your French conversational skills?

If so, then please join us as we embark upon a new French language development and growth series presented by The Kalamazoo French Language Meetup Group: Les Pensées et La Discussions: Les Conversations au Sujet d’Oeuvres Écrit. The series is presented by Mr. Djibril Cisse who has studied French in his native country of Senegal from childhood. During this series, Mr. Cisse will take us on a journey of a variety of French culture.

Successful participants in this discussion group will have a sincere desire for improvement and will have completed a Beginning and/or Intermediate Level French course. Beginners are welcome to attend but should understand that the specially selected intermediate/advanced level readings and discussions are entirely in French with extremely minimal English interjection.

In addition to the weekly readings, participants will complete weekly intermediate level grammar assignments and will be given an opportunity to gain a deep and clear understanding and use of the French grammar.

This intermediate / advanced discussion group is hosted weekly and is based on various French readings.

So, if you’ve had some previous French and you’re looking for an opportunity to grow and learn more, then now is your chance to make it happen! Don’t wait. Register TODAY. This series is offered at $8.00 per person / per session. The sessions are held each Thursday from 7pm - 8pm.

Because of the SHORT STORY nature of this course, registration is open throughout the semester

The series begins with the book Le Pagne Noir - a collection of short stories by Bernard Dedié, and grammar book Interaction: Révision de Grammaire Française by Susan St. Onge et al. ISBN: 0838406025 . Books are required for participation. However, if you are a participant in French NOW! or Towards Fluency, no grammar book is required.

***Participants in this series are welcome to attend French NOW!, the beginning French study group, at no additional cost. (i.e. - two for the price of one).
