Bonjour Tout Le Monde!!

I just wanted to drop a line to encourage everyone to join us for the March Meetup tonight, Thursday, March 19, 2009, at 7:00pm. We will meet at Water Street Café on Oakland drive. We will be in the back room area.

Our past few meetups have been very nice! So, if you've thought about joining us in the past, please do so now. ALSO, if you're planning on coming, be sure to RSVP as to encourage others.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. As you may know, we are holding Vas-Y-Voir (a French Language series) every Thursday. The cost for this series is $8.00 per session. If you'd like to join us for a free trial session, just let us know. We look forward to having you.

2. In the past, we have sent Vas-Y-Voir announcements to the entire group. In an effort to help de-clutter your mailboxes, we will only send this announcement to regular participants. If you choose, in the future, to join us, just visit the website to sign-up.

3. We are considering a French wine tasting event for the April meetup. The cost per participant would be approximately $25 (assuming, at minimum, eight participants). Please participate in our newest POLL so that we can determine if this would be a good thing for our group. The wine tasting event would last about 2.5 hours. The wine selections would be from francophone countries. Additionally, the entire event will be conducted in the French language.

4. As you may be aware, the French Film Festival is being held THIS WEEK. Please come out to enjoy the wonderful selection of films. I believe that the director will present his films on Friday and Saturday night.

5. As a personal note, I'm planning to attend the French Film Festival on Thursday night following the French Meetup. Anyone care to join me?
