"Hi, I'm Carolyn. I'm a research student (African Studies) and have lived in Edinburgh (mostly) since 1991. I am hoping to practice my conversational french and meet some new people and do some fun things in the process."

Where did you learn french?

"At school, IALS and am currently taking an Open University course (level 2)."

What level of french do you speak?

"Still a bit basic but getting better. My understanding is better than my fluency (I sometimes get confused with Spanish)."
