"Bonjour! I am a Canadian moving to Edinburgh for a year. My spoken French is pretty good in general and I want to make sure I don't lose it while I am away. Any help I can get would be great!"

Where did you learn french?

"I grew up in Montreal and went to French elementary school. It was mediocre but enough to get by. I have since practiced as much as possible previously with friends and more recently at work."

What level of french do you speak?

"More than enough to get by. I can speak well if I know the topic but falter if I stray too far out of my knowledge."

Additional information:

"Would prefer speak meetings for now."
